2 - Coco Chips 5KG Blocks


Coco chips are produced from the husks at the outer layer of the coconut nut.
These chips are added to potting soil or mixed with coco peat to regulate the aeration of the growing medium and maintain the ideal air to moisture ratio for plant roots.They are widely popular among orchid and anthurium growers as the ideal growing medium.
Coco husk chips can be mixed at different proportions with coco peat to regulate the aeration and moisture level of the growing medium.
Coco husk chips are available in different sizes to cater to various gardening needs. Here are the common sizes you might come across:
Fine: These chips range from 3 mm -6 mm in size. They are suitable for seed starting mixes or for plants that prefer a finer substrate.
Medium: These chips range from 6 mm – 12 mm. They provide a good balance of moisture retention and aeration.
Coarse These are the largest chips, measuring between 12 mm – 18 mm. They are ideal for plants that require excellent drainage and air circulation.
